Chante Moore on "The One" Remix? Is that Chante Moore singing backup on "The One"Remix? It sounds like her to me, but I can't find any information on it. I know that Prince was quite taken by Chante around this time, even referencing her on "Rippopgodazippa."

Let me clarify "taken." I am not implying anything other than he was really into her singing. Don't get me wrong, she is a stunning woman and I am sure that was not lost on Prince, but I am referring to a professional relationship. I know that she did some backing vocals on several songs on "Emancipation." So, I wondered if she also did backing for "The One" remix.
