i'm in the UK - how great is it to have a prince concert broadcast live across the world??!!! Whoever set this up was genius. Reminds me how long its been since we've seen Prince in Europe

Now this ´Let´s take it to the stage´ makes more sense than ever. Come on, Prince, show them that you can kick *ss even in the rain!

okay, i don't know about anyone else, but i LOVED the all along the watchtower/best of you middle part.

The stage was awesome. The twins were awesome.

Prince was hot. Fantastic performance - loved it!!

The pyro was awesome too.

The rain did not stop Prince at all!

OUCH OUCH OUCH!!!!

He seemed so tense, so NOT relaxed, that he screwed up most of his guitarwork!

And what about the fireworks and lighteffects: way too much overkill there.

The fact that Prince, the twinz and the band pulled this off in the DRIVING rain; not a drizzle, but a DRIVING RAIN, makes this performance VERY impressive. I mean they put on one hell of a performance and did not miss a freakin' beat. This is y I'm so proud to be a prince fan. The halftime show was EXCELLENT!!!!!

Considering the heavy rain, I thought Prince and Co did an awesome job.

Very well done, I thought: he played as well as could be expected given the circumstances. My only complaint would be that it seems like I’ve heard a little bit of Vegas-style glitz creeping into his performances of Purple Rain that keeps it from really soaring the way it can when he really, really cuts loose on the solo. But why quibble? He performed very well. Hooray for our kid.

And the audience? They seemed to love the performance? It was all live or just the vocals/guitar over a DAT?

You all know how much I love Prince but this was just another performance for me. Yeah, he was in the rain, and all that but it was just okay for me. I'm glad I got to see him perform.

I did enjoy the fact that his voice was mixed way out in front so you could actually hear him.

Not gonna bitch her too much, i really think he rushed his guitarwork too much, i have seem and hear him play a lot better.

But indeed, the audience seemed to love it and it was nice that between the 'hits' he played this cover version of The watchtower / Best of you.

But....one tiny thing... was he wearing that scarf around his head to keep his wig in place (i am serious here)

I thought it was just amazing how he faced the conditions. I'm a little proud!

AWESOME PERFORMANCE!!!!! Yeah, it was raining like crazy and P. still ripped it! I loved how he was just killing it on the guitar throughout....Best part of the performance for me was the "Along The WatchTower/Best of U" (AWESOME) and "Purple Rain"....I ain't gonna like, "Purple Rain" really moves me. I've seen him do it live and on TV performances and if his guitar solo on that song doesn't move you then there is something wrong with you. The silhouette (spelling?) effect when he did the guitar solo on "Purple Rain" was THE BOMB. Best SuperBowl performance EVER.....all the Prince haters can now officially shut the F up. I hope he makes "Best Of U" available to buy cuz his version is incredible.....Mad Respect 2 Prince...He's proven once again that he's a living legend/genius.

I kept saying to myself..."all you have to do is show up and do your thing"...repeatedly...and.... YES!!!! IN THE RAIN..on a SLIPPERY STAGE IN BOOTS! Looking good, rested, energized.... YEAHHHHH. Pulled it off big time.

it was ok.....it was staged, not a party but ok! I just don't like him doing covers! 'All Along The Watchtower' was ofcourse his embedded JW-message, 'Rolling Down The River'.....get Ike & Tina if you want that.....and why the Foo Fighters???? I love the Foo's and 'The Best Of You' is an awesome song, just not for Prince!!!

However, I'm a snob.....I admit! For the rest, his guitar-play was great as always and they sure nailed it down despite the rain!
