Prince is now scheduled to perform at 2:30 EST on the NFL Network.
If you have Directv and HD programming you can watch it in HD on channel 95. Otherwise you can watch it on channel 212.

ESPNHD has a show on today at 3:30 pm (EST) called Sports Center - the description says "Super Bowl Special" From Miami (Unknown) anyone know if this is the same show? No one has listed what the name of the show actually is.

I just found on http://www.nfl.com/fieldp...des/sirius that you can listen to NFL Sirius Radio online - I don't know if Prince's performance will be played (it's talk radio right now, and I'm at work, so I have it turned down), but it's worth a try.

They 're showing it on NFL Network sometime between 2:30 and 5:00 est I read it at the bottom of the screen...hope it goes off as planned

I'm watching the Billy Joel press conference right now, and he is hilariously nonplussed-- when asked to give a message to his fans in the UK, he just stared, and finally said, "I'm not really a message guy." He seemed really annoyed with the first few questions.

At one point, while talking about "how it feels" to be the first guy to sing the National Anthem in two Superbowls, he said he doesn;t know, he hasn't done it yet. Then he said, "I'm just singing the Anthem, Prince is doing the Halftime Show-- Prince is doing all the work!"

Second-to-last question for Billy Joel: "What do you think of Prince, his singing and his dancing?"

Joel did not pause at all to reply, "I think he's brilliant. He's one of the top talents in the industry today."

Oh thank god my dad had us order the NFL network

Prince gets up to the mic-- can't remember word-for-word, but he says "we hope we don't wreck your ears too much... Contrary to rumor, I would like to take a few questions before we begin playing." Then he looks out into the crowd, a man says, "Prince, how do you feel about playing the SuperBowl?"

But before the words are even out of the guy's mouth, Prince lifts up his guitar and rips into a Chuck Berry song.

After jamming out on the guitar at the end of Anotherlover... (which included an awesome guitar solo with the twins dancing around Prince, one of them hanging onto him in beautiful orgasmic ecstacy, with Prince nodding to someone in the front row as if to say, "pretty nice, eh?"), Prince said, "How 'bout that?" Then he invited everyone to get up on their feet as the band dug into GET ON THE BOAT, very cheerful last song.

NFL Network is replaying the beginning of GET ON THE BOAT after commercials-- Prince said at the beginning to the press crowd, "Feel free to get up if you want to... it's all good."

Thanks you guys, if I had not signed on at that very moment I would have not known this was going on, I got my real player goiing just as he was being introduced..nice introduction I may add.
