What's better - Partyman or Prettyman? I'm putting together a collection from 89-99 and there's only room for one of these upbeat, funky numbers. Which one wins?

Thanks for the help. I like them both, but I would have to go with Partyman. It's more of a unique and pure Prince sound. Hard to imagine it being recorded by anyone else. Prettyman seems a bit more generic to me. | |

Thanks for the help. I like them both, but I would have to go with Partyman. It's more of a unique and pure Prince sound. Hard to imagine it being recorded by anyone else. Prettyman seems a bit more generic to me. Good point. Partyman seems like Prince fulfilling childhood James Brown fantasies ("Maceo!!"), but Prettyman is pure Prince. I think you've sold it to me. |

Preeeeettyman. And he certainly is a prettyman.. This song is the JAM!!actually I was listening to the CD the other day, and I could not help getting up and dancing my ass off!! A few times actually.
