BOOT TO THE EAR:new morning,hit and run,sacrifice

I had the opportunity to listen to some boot cd's over the weekend and they were the paris New Morning Club cd,Sacrifice, and Hit and Run from 2000.Man,these cd's slam!!!I have the vinyl version of He's Got the Look so I wasn't new to that Paris aftershow, but it really is a very funky pleasure. And I was surprised at how much I enjoy Sacrifice and Hit and Run!!!Sacrifice is comprised of various '93 shows in soundboard and Hit and Run is all audience. The sound on these is mostly great!!The stereo really got good range out of these.sacrifice isa double cd while Hit and Run is a triple. The grooves are really smoking and really, out of all I heard, there were like, only 2 instances where i was a little disappointed;"call the law" was horrifically rapped and Common's freestyle was a little off on Hit and Run.Luckily, the great far outweighs the little not-so-cool's!!The grooves just smoke and Dorothy Parker and Mutiny are not leaving me head! He even played America on Sacrifice!!You all must hear these!!

Common? In '93 he would have been with Tony M. He's never toured with Common, has he?

Didn't Common have an opening set during one of the Celebrations?

Yeah, this is the show referred to in Mellow: "we could watch a tape of this mellow afterparty - Macy and Common were there".

From the Hit 'N Run Tour show I went to(the latter version) and all of the ones I heard, they all suck ass...that year was Prince's worst ever and I Pray he never repeats it and it remains the worst.

A one off guest appearance then, not a tour? Bah, I hate inaccurate bootleg titles. Hit n' Run was the name of a tour so you'd expect performances from that tour, not aftershows from the original celebration which was not part of a tour but a seperate event.
