Prince a "Hot Topic" on Minneapolis Public Library Website

I am a librarian at the Minneapolis Public Library and was asked to do a "Hot Topic" for our website about Prince! So here it is: http://www.mplib.org/hott...3.asp?0207
I had submitted a more recent photo but they went with this oldie from our Special Collections archives which is cool too. Just thought you might enjoy this! The org is even mentioned at the end in the websites section.

Let's go down 2 the holy river,
If we drown then we'll be delivered.
If we don't then we'll never see the light.
If U die before U try,
U'll have 2 come back and face the light.
When U believe it, U got a good reason 2 cry.

Very cool sonicfreak. Thanks for sharing! thumbs up!
The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

Thanks for the kind word! I was happy that they didn't edit my piece too much. The part where I mention the Paisley shows I had put in parenthesis "(this writer spent many late nights/early mornings watching him perform there!)" and they took that out. I also mentioned the celebrations and the Vegas residency which got cut for some reason. I mentioned that The Musicology tour was the biggest moneymaking tour of the year.

Usually the Hot Topics are shorter and they pretty much printed what I wrote. It is hard to sum up Princes career briefly! Especially if you are as big a fan (or fam?) as I am. I could have gone on and on an on...
