Back Ground Music

Was listening 2 some old Morris Day songs,and I realized that all the back ground music was Prince. Did Prince do back ground 4 Morris back in the day????

Prince did most of the music for the first 3 Time albums. He wasn't involved in the later Morris Day solo albums.
