was at work until about 7pm this evening and had my itunes playing pretty loud. Was listening to Ultimate Disc and on came Diamonds & Pearls.

I played the thing 4 times over ...the arrangement is so ridiculous and its so lush and pretty. The lyrics are corny but catchy (I'm glad he stopped saying the happy boy or girl thing...seems like that phrased popped up in to too many P records back then)

Anyhow...I really like this song...an example of Prince's ability to write in one of many styles. The POP record

We love P so much for his raw, gritty and underground early stuff we forget that he writes POP records just as well if not better... Little Red Corvette!

As I listened to D&P I couldn't help but think that song was really meant for Chaka & P
