Ok, its now almost mid September, so far this year we have received 1 cd, 3 more 2 go, if he announces the next one 2moro we might not get it till October and then he has 2 more b4 February

This is on top of the ONE NITE ALONE LIVE CD which is being released in November and the European tour!

I wouldnt b surprised if those 4 cd's we r meant 2 be getting dont appear until well in2 2003 membership !!

What the hell is goin on i mean there have been no updates on NPGMC.com for a month and even at that the "updates" just confused every1 and never really said anything!

If there isnt some serious final announcements in the next few days im gonna go mad! the wait 4 the tour is killin' me!!!

Ever since Prince first started releasing albums
he has added tracks at the last minute, taken
tracks off, ditched entire album projects,
re-recorded tracks and generally changed his
mind about his musical output right up until
the moment it hits the shelves.

Why does everybody seem to think he should change?

Join NPGMC and you will get 4 CDs sent to you.
When & what is merely speculation, but you
will get them. This is why NPGMC can't be too
specific. Until they've actually sent out
the CDs, even they can't be certain Prince
won't change his mind about something.

I must admit I agree with everyones comments because they are valid arguments.

I speculate, there will be no more cd's after One Night Alone (live). Why? Though it is packaged ion one case it is three cd's thus fulfilling the implied (it does read "Each 2002 member will receive at least 4 brand new Prince CDs in the mail from Paisley Park thruout the year*.") In legal terms, a 3 disc set is still "4 brand new Prince cds".

I wonder what happened to Xenophobia, Madrid to Chicago, and the random album...

Madrid 2 Chicago got shelved, like Roadhouse Garden.

I still think there's a good chance Xenophobia will be released though.

There was mention on the chat around the time of membership renewal of a cd called "Witness..." which contained remade versions of outtake songs like Moonbeam Levels and the like. Haven't heard anything about it since. The worst case scenario is that this 3 disc ONA live set will fulfill his 4 "disc" promise and therefore that might be it. He's still trying to get ONA studio in stores and figure out a distribution deal for the live set. Who knows what's gonna happen. Maybe he's waiting to release the next thing to correspond with the european tour to create a big wave of excitement all at once. That's my guess.
