If you're reffering to this playlist, I'm not sure songs are automatically added to the playlist after being played for the first time... This list only indicates songs that are in regular rotation. IF (and this is a big IF) the song was played on Radio1, it probably was an exclusive, ahead-of-release preview, like big radio stations often do... It could be days, even weeks before the song goes into rotation.

Thing is. Yes it's a pain in the tits not knowing for sure when something new is coming from Prince and then to hear a rumour lifts your spirits in anticipation. But it is not really a big deal if the rumour is false. In all honesty there are so many other things that matter in the world it pales in comparison. If I believed every rumour and whisper about any impending Madonna stuff I would be in an early grave. I see it all as a bit of fun and at least it keeps people interested and talikng about the man and his music.

No idea either way about this rumor (although I would expect other people to have heard it if true), but I do wonder if a Prince/Beyonce single might be coming soon, if the rumors of them performing together at the SuperBowl are true. Perhaps available for download following the half-time show?
