The original recording of Purple Rain. That other verse is odd but cool. There is a link on youtube but I gather that the mods will block out if I post a link. It is easy to find.
The complete unedited version of computer blue is cool. For no other reason than it made the words in the sleeve for Computer Blue make sense. As a kid I wondered what that jibberish meant. Now I know now I know.

Ummmmm...isn't that what the thread title asks? Whether you prefer an unreleased version? I thought so. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Ummmmm...isn't that what the thread title asks? Whether you prefer an unreleased version? I thought so. Yes, and i stated i happened to prefer the unreleased version...despite the fact that the album cut is great anyway.

i like the faster more industrial(?) version of come. there were several versions out there. my least favorite of all of them is the one that was released officially. there is one with a slow jazzy version that goes into a faster industrial version into orgasm. (maybe i have the sequence wrong) its good but orgasm is on the same track and that kind of kills it for me. i have to run to my stereo and turn it down so the neighbors dont get the wrong idea.

Yes! How did I forget that one? "Love Hurts. Your lies, they cut me. Now your words don't mean a thing. I don't give a damn if you ever loved me..." -Cher, "Woman's World"
