Plenty of people- as or more- famous than him have done it and I hope he does before my life is over (although I'm not holding my breath). Gets tiring reading other people's versions of his life. and yes, of course the music is his story but didn't I just recently see a lengthy thread elsewhere about whether or not he actually "shows" his real self in the music? (I'd like to think he does but there is obviously some debate on that) I happen to like to read, I happen to like autobiographies...check out a bookstore sometime you'll see tons of them, even have their own section. And if you don't think every single person on this site would be waiting on line overnight to buy a Prince autobiography the day it came out, you're just being silly. Instead of talking aftershows, we'd be talking "bookstore" parties.
Perfectly said. Your lips would make a lollipop too happy.

good 4 U!! (where's local?) When he finished last week and came back into our area- and we (self, friend, not sure if maybe 1-2 others in general area) put our hands out, he shook each, but I couldn't get anything out other than "thank you, thank you"...but to be honest I don't think any other thought existed in my mind at the time- the aftershow was that good! local is Cincinnati, "Nastinnati", he had so many bodyguards I knew if I reache d my hand out they would trip, there was a camera incident when he was leaving, but thats another story

I fully understand the enjoyment a fan gets from reading about Prince. He is a facinating person with a facinating, exciting life. I've always loved reading about celebrities, expecially Prince. Truly inspiring, exciting people don't come along too often..at least I don't meet alot of them in my everyday life so when I do find someone that I think is fablous I want get inside their facinating brains and swim around in their genius. I don't see why people would assue that is stalkerish..unless as someone stated before you kinda would have to harrass and disrespect someone and their privacy for someone to be a stalker. So if Prince makes you happy and inspires you go ahead and read about him!
