Miss Independent by Kelly Clarkson = Prince-like? Wouldn't you say the instrumentation and vocals are very prince-esque?

All I know is that when "Miss Independent" is playing very quietly, on the other side of the room, you hear the same chorus repeat very dramatically about 8 times. Each time it finishes, from across the room you think the song is over.. then the chorus comes back and hits ya.  It actually made for comic relief at work one day. | |
