The author either has to be a jealous female possibly non-black or just a female period, impersonating a male and can't stand to see Prince who is a man of color be with women of color,... OR either the author is a male who dislikes women of color and is using Prince and his exgirlfriends/wives looks as a topic to express his/her dislike for those type of women .. OR it's a male of color that just has a dislike for women of a darker shade....lighter shade vs darker shade....same sh*t, different day...this sh*t never ends...this is definitely a bait thread. I have never seen Prince with a woman that wasn't sexy. EVER In fact I fashioned my taste in women after Prince to be honest. As a kid I remember watching GB (ever female in that movie was HOT!) Nona Gaye is what I hope my wife will look like her.

It seemed to bother the men and woman. Once again it is really no one's concern who dude is involved with and some of the black people are showing their self-hatred and the other races are just being bigoted. I don't know what to make of the woman.

It's almost as though some fans think Prince needs their permission to date, marry, conversate, work, associate, sing on stage with or bring women of color on stage at his concerts, ..that's totally insane and ridiculous, almost like some "fatal attraction" stuff going on in here , and it's a non-stop topic all the time, that makes absolutely no sense. I must admit that I find this, "woman bashing," that is prevalent in relation to Mani, Cat, Nona, Robin, Carmen etc. a bit of a worry. These woman are all beautiful in different ways and have a talent or look which attracted Prince at one time to work or date these woman. Who are we to line them up in order of what we deem to be beautiful? Would we like to have someone ask people at our work to rate us all according to looks?
I know that this is just a bait thread, negative and worthless but sometimes you just have to say how you feel.

I think that some people maybe actually angry they can't have a woman who looks as good as those mentioned. All jokes aside as a straight none of the women mentioned would be turned away from my home. Even Cat today would be welcome to come and rap a taste

Threads like these anger me because they always bring out the morons who claim racism when some of the women Orgers mention as being not so attractive happen to be women of colour.
It's so stupid. Guess what? Not everything is racist. I don't find a lot of black women attractive, but that doesn't mean I have something against them. I don't find a lot of white women attractive either. Besides, people criticize the looks of Prince's non-black gf's just as much as his black ones, but overly sensitive people (basically, just laurarichardson) focus on the one instead of the other. It's so silly. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

ok, i've been trying to keep my mouth shut..but...well..anyways.
i agree..bashing is unacceptable in any form. however, you have too view both sides of the coin. i, as a white woman, have been bashed on these boards for being white. is that considered racist and should it be allowed? yes it is racist, and no it shouldn't be allowed....keeping that in mind, this is a public forum with people from all walks of life, that will have varying opinions. some feel that white people shouldn't appreciate prince's music as much as people of color. i mean, come one, to be bashed because i don't "understand" because i am white? to say i don't and shouldn't appreciate prince's music because i am white? i agree with the above post though, i have seen the hateration on prince women regardless of color. i know specifically which thread yall are talking about when you speak of the bashing on the color of women in prince's life...but that was a very few select people making those comments, and they do not, i repeat, do not represent the opinion of the majority of orgers.

You are right, it is not all the orgers that bash women of color so let me apologize for that, but just a select few, and to tell you the truth I think bashing of any woman period on these forums is unacceptable, but there has been much more bashing when it comes to women of a darker complexion that has been involved in Prince's life whether it's professionally or on a personal basis, i.e, Mani, Nona, Robin and let's not forget Tamar. Well, obviously racism exists, but that doesn't mean that any time a less than flattering comment is made about a black person, it just HAS to be racist. How many times do you see people like Gwen Stefani getting bashed on this site? Does that mean this site has a bias against white people? If I ask a black or Asian girl out and she rejects me, should I assume that she said no because she hates white people? It's just silly, plain and simple. Now, if a person were to say they don't find Nona attractive and followed that up with a comment like , "Prince needs to stay away from those people", then proceed to tear that person a new asshole by all means. It's so silly. I think Mayte is way, way hotter than Nona. I must be racist against black people! ...But I also think Nona is way hotter than Lisa Coleman. Err, I must be racist against white people! But wait, I also think Carmen Electra is hotter than Mani. Where does it end?
