Was their anything on the "COME" album that was good or anything that u disliked.

Yeah I like it ok. My fav. would be Dark. Come is just long enough to spend some time with your partner!! If you don't like to spend all night doing it!

Solo is a gem, Pheromone is great

I was skeptical about it at first because I thought all the songs were going to be uber raunchy and I hate the Typhoon 'do, but it has become one of my top 5 Prince albums. I love it, esp. Fantastic album.Love the entire thing.

Come is in my top tier, as well. I don't care for Orgasm, but the rest of it is pretty great. I think Pheromone is probably the dirtiest song he ever wrote. (That ain't a knock.) And, as mentioned, the Space 12" is exceptional in its own right. (I especially like the acoustic version of Space and the Universal Love mix.)

Yes I did like the "Come" album,Space was my fav but I also like Letitgo and Dark.The last time I listened to it a week ago, I actually listened thoroughly to the words of Papa and that one is starting to grow on me.

Great album! One of his best during the 90's which was not so good to Prince.

This is a marvellous album, some excellent tracks, personal fave's are Race and Pheromone (Though I can never look at the title of that song and not think about Rik Mayall and Ade Edmondson "Is this a sex shop?" "Yes it is, sir." "Excellent, I'll have five pounds worths please!" - great gag.)

I began to love Prince's music with this album. It is a pure elegance.....

I love the whole album; it's fucking ace.

I like the artwork and the theme.

I like most of the material from the album, but I'm not entirely sure it all works as cohesively as it could. A lot of this stuff from Come, Gold etc, it's excellent top-drawer stuff, but he didn't really do it justice because of his silly cry-baby games at the time.

It's a strange one in that it's very electronic but still emits this warm, organic sound...takes a while to grow on ya, but there's alot of good stuff on it.

When I heard this the first thing I thought was 'where has Prince's sense of humour gone?' because all the tracks are relatively dark and serious.

Then I heard Exodus, and I realised he had put all his humour into that album.

It's an okay album, but seems very short, especially if you dismiss 'orgasm' and I don't really enjoy 'solo' and thought the first 2 songs were kinda boring although they did gradually grow on me. Pheromone, Loose, Papa, and Letitgo are what the album is all about for me.

I love "Come"- my fav tune from it is "Letitgo."

i did, for some reason. you can tell it's mostly filler but i love the trio vibe. i wish he had done proper record with those 2.

Fav song is Space. Adore that song. So much so, just had to buy the 5 track CD with all the remixes.....closely followed by Pheremone...how gooood is that!!?

That whole Come/Gold/Beautiful Experience era was great to witness, especially how the songs and the whole vibe developed over that timespan from 1993-95. And it was interesting to see how he would re-interpret songs in a different way from time to time, sometimes even within days ,or hours, on the same tour...like what he did with 18 And Over and Days Of Wild and Shhh. He made every live version sound a little bit different.

I would love to hear that rock version of Space that Michael Bland once mentioned. Seems he has lots of different versions of all those songs from those years. I love all the songs on the Come album ( except for that weird Orgasm) but Race is my least favorite....great lyrics but the delivery is not my thing...the rapping is not so cool.

But I do like the title track a lot, especially the way he sings it.

Papa and Solo are great introspective songs, and Space is a trip.

Sorry to say, but IMO Come is one of the most overrated Prince albums among his biggest fans.

Most cuts suffer from poor songwriting, mediocre melodies and Prince sounding on autopilot, bored even ('Space' being the most obvious example).

Wouldnt Papa, Letitgo and Dark be on this record, then it would as bland and forgetable as New Power Soul.

as for the question, I don't own the albume, so that should answer the question. I keep meaning to sell most of the Pp Albumes I have on ebay, but they are worthless for resale. I keep holding out thinking maybe Prince will do something new and worthwhile, and then people will be looking on ebay for a Lot of his older CDs. However, knowing prince like I do, I'm not holding my breath on that one. Maybe during the football game would be a great time to list them.
