Well just look at that. All three were registered in Feb. - around the time the 2nd year of the club started.

These records only show he's copyrighted the music...not whether they're ready for release or not. I imagine he's copyrighted a lot of his music-because of piracy issues-regardless if they're released or not.

That said, ONA was released, so it looks good for the other two.

when U copy write something artwork painting media sound recording etc... this is how it is...

SR = sound recording form...all that is within the title of said "title" is in completion of every song within the title VOLUME of the copy written material lyrics, sounds, etc...therefore U need not list every song that is within the entire compilation title ie, one nite alone and/or "trc" "the rainbow children" some titles can be volume one and can contain up to 50 songs even more as long as they are on the recorded entry U submit with the form and is included with a label that has the title written on the SR form for those who need it easier said>>>as long as the recordings "sound recordings" are on a type of media within the title of listed songs within the copy right form ie, SR form with author being xample "prince"...ownership and authorization is protected. U receive the form back with a legal stamped ID number of your copy written material submitted thru the library of congress.

I wish radio knew what copy right was...that's where the problem is now...thank u.

I'd heard a rumor a long while back that
'Last December' was a live album recorded
on the 'One Nite Alone' tour. So called
because it was mostly recorded last
december (I think most of it was actually
recorded last aug/nov...but that's
beside the point).

Seems to me that Prince just changed his
mind about the title, and expanded the
album into the 3CD box set we are currently
awaiting.

Your very correct, tho the thing about searching over at that site is if you change the last number of the claimant # you'll find all kinds of things. All the TRC songs are up there, if you have the time you can search and look in order what songs were added in order and you'll find some things, some titles of unreleased songs etc! the songs were sent to the LoC in the same package and given a number near. Prince registers things under different names...yada yada. Search and u will find! I'm not sure what all this is worth unless your just intersted in titles of unreleased songs. It does not guarantee a release or anything as that changes, so it maybe a waste to you!! Wonder what the song about Jesus is like?? Ohh lawd.

?? I think these songs have to be at the LoC a long time before I can go and aXXXess them?? Anyone know how long??

It is definitly a "compilation" of a bunch of already copyrighted sound recordings; therefore the "claim limit". The copyright claim to this compilation entitled "Last december" is only to the compilation itself, not the actual, separate, recordings contained in it.
You are not my "friend" because you threaten my security.
