Fantasy SUPER BOWL Setlist... Ok,
Ya know he's NOT gonna do this but... Since Pepsi is sponsering this... Open up with his tribute to Ray Charles with UH HUH! right into one of what could be ANY type of James Brown Medley in tribute... Then get back to Prince with THE WORD for all the world to hear right into Purple Rain to end it with an INCREDIBLE Guitar solo... Somewhere in there, throw in 3121 for Promotional purposes of course... So, what do YOU think ? I would not be disappointed with that ! ... or anything else he deceides to play... The more I think about the pending Superbowl performance, the more I'm happy that there is no news about what will happen...other than the marching band.
I LOVE not knowing! I think of songs...What "should" he play??? What would set the right tone? What's going to happen? And dammit...now I'm just looking forward to seeing what Prince does. :peaceloveandgroovyhippyflowers:  I'm firmly planted in denial |

Whatever he plays, I hope - and it would be nice - if he could reunite with the Revolution for some of the classics... maybe play with Rosie and the NPG too. All just to showcase he still rocks with some of those that were with him when those songs hit big! This could be a huge chance for him to "make-up" with some people...
