I heard Prince & Madonna did a song together once. Does anyone know the name of it ... or how I can hear it?

but the prince/madonna song "love song" is. I think that prince is doing some guitar on "art on contrition".

For clarification: Love Song is on the Madonna album Like A Prayer. It's a duet between Prince and Madonna and it came out in 1989. It sounds like his Batman-era work

I think it would've been an interesting B-side but it's not album material IMHO.

Cool I never knew they did a duet until tonight. I just downloaded the mp3 and I have to say the two of them made beautiful music together!

In an interview Madonna did indicate that it was Prince's guitar that begins Like a Prayer, and his guitar in Act of Contrition.... uncredited.

Known / reported recordings with Madonna:

1, 'Love Song' co-written and recorded - Prince/Madonna

2. 'Act of Contrition' - features recording of guitar work by Prince.

3. 'Keep It Together' reported to feature uncredited Prince guitar work

Yes I bought the Like A Prayer album when it came out and my fav track was Love Song, there voices go great together.

The lyrics 'Time goes by so slowly for those who wait, and those who run seem to have all the fun' She used these lyrics in a recent song didn't she?

As a gay man, it's kind of taboo to say you don't like Madonna, but I couldn't stand her until this album. To me, this is when she starts getting good. How funny, she becomes intersting AFTER she meets and records w/ Prince.

I kinda like Love Song, think it's quite quirky to most of the stuff he handed out to other artists.

"Love Song" is a good song,but it sounds dark and demo-like...and it's kinda repetitive.I don't think they spent alot of time on the lyrics I think their voices sound good together,though.

Her song with Lenny Kravitz,"Justify My Love",appears on her 'Immaculate Collection' CD,released in 1990.

and the song is Prince associate connected in that Ingrid Chavez sued when they left her name off of the authorship of the lyrics... she won. It's very similar in concept to her stuff she did with Prince.
