The Linn drum machine puts these two classic in the same atmosphere to me.I think most would agree these are both great songs.Which one do you feel is the greater of the two?

These are like two of my favourite prince songs...i couldn't choose between 'em.

I try to come up with pretty even battles. Seems like most of the time I succeed.Both songs really grew on my but Dorothy did first,hence my answer.

The Ballad of Dorothy Parker, no doubt, best song there is. has a real special (funky) vibe to it

The Ballad of Dorthy Parker. I love how moody and relaxed it is. I love how he tells an intresting story throughout the song.

A surprisingly easy decision of 'SITW(DNC)'.

I like both.

This is a tough decision, but The Ballad Of Dorothy Parker gets my vote! It's very interesting how he tells this poetic story and even mentions Joni Mitchell's name in the song. Something In The Water is a great one too, because of the innovative drum samples and the haunting lyrics.
