Songs Prince shoulda kept 4 himself

Screams of Passion

How, why and what possessed him 2 give that 2 the Family...its probably one of the best songs he ever wrote.

Lyrically its so good U dont even have 2 sing it...U can read it as a Poem

Musically its awe inspiring

The concept is genius

The arrangement is incredible

also he should have kept Elephant Box neutral

...anyway yeah I love Screams Of Passion, think it's one of the best pop songs he's ever wrote.

I think everyone brings something to a Prince song. SOmetimes, they bring something that he didn't orginally bring. I mean, for all it's lackluster melancholy, Sinead's "Nothing Compares 2 U" gave his song a great deal of emotional debth. The song begs for a sense of longing, and she delivers.

But if the question is "What songs should Prince have just kept to his own damned self", I'd say "Jughead" and almost everything off of "New Power Soul" nod
