first and foremost i am a huge fan and love the things Prince is doing right now past,present and future.Now having said that,you take away prince most loyal fans and what will he have right now?(probably nothing but his greatest hits)The industry only cares about whats hot and what sells and not whats good anymore.If creativity,originality and style was the main ingredients for an award then Prince wins but, we all know that that's not the case anymore.Right?

Prince won 2 Grammies from Musicology, which many would say is not exactly his strongest album. So there's no reason why he can't win awards for 3121, which many would say is no weaker than Musicology. I expect him to pick up a Grammy actually, but you never know.

he is smart too tho, he gave away his cd and counted it as sold on his musicology tour to anybody who bought a ticket. that there being one of the reasons he won the grammys.. but i do hope he wins a few

i think he'll win a few this year, but it won't get much attention in the media.

it's interesting. If he doesn't win anything, folks would say he's not relevant anymore, but then if you look at what is relevent in the industry today, most would not consider it real music, so should we be sad?

shoot, with all them grammy categories everyone on this planet will eventually win one.
