Prince parody

How many Prince parodies are there ?

[[ I didnt see this in FAQ]]

Because I just saw the one on "The Chappelle Show"

and the one on "Saturday Night Live" about The Prince Show.

Is there anymore ..

has any1 seen the lenny henry parody of "when doves cry" ive heard about it when it was on 6years ago? but ive never seen it

I remember that! Actually, that was waaaay back around 85/86, although he DID do another one around the time period you state, dressed head to toe in yellow circa 1991/92.

I think there's a pic in our gallery somewhere actually...

By the way, there is always this one (and it's one of the funniest in my opinion), from one of the most underrated comedy shows ever, 'Big Train'.

ah thanks for the lenny henry info i didnt know he was a prince fan, from what my friend at the time discribed he parodied the bit where prince is riding around on his bike except with the lenny skit the bike keeps on getting smaller, ah i remember the big train clip, to think i wasnt a prince fan when that was origianlly on :shakes head:

Yeah, that's definately the 85/86 sketch you're describing - I remember it fondly, would love to see it again. He also did a great 'Thriller' send-up around that time too. Can't remember for the life of me what he did in the later sketch (pictured above), but I do remember him doing a documentary on jazz, and just happening on by Paisley Park - I'll have to try and find the clipping I have of that and scan it. Also, Lenny is credited as a backing vocalist on the Kate Bush/Prince collab. 'Why Should I Love You?'.
