He had the white Thunderbird for many years, then crashed it I think! After that he had a few BMW's (they're in a few videos and photos).

Don't know what he has now.

I have an article with CJ (MPLS Star Tribune) from '96 and she told a story about meeting Prince outside Paisley Park. Her friend who is a big Prince fan was in town visiting and she wanted to see where Prince lived. CJ took her and showed her his house and as they were leaving the gate opened and a white BMW (Emancipation car) pulled up behind her and then passed her. I remember her saying the windows were so dark that she could only see his knuckles on the steering wheel. She then followed it to Paisley Park. She parked outside the gate since she is not allowed on Paisley Park property. A few minutes later the white BMW pulled up and the window came down and it was Prince. The first thing he said was “Billy.” CJ then said “I guess the song was about me.” He then informed her friend who was about to take a picture “no pictures.” I can’t remember the rest of their conversation but I have the article at home.

I am sure I don’t have everything 100% but I am closer then you would think since I haven’t read the article in 10 years.

I guess to answer the question – it always seems he is rolling in a BMW.
o He had a black BMW in the photo that popped up last year from sometime in the early 80’s.
o I have an “A Current affair” clip from the Batman era with Kim and P leaving in a Blue Mercedes.
o The “OFF THE HOOK” Yellow BMW from Gangster Glam video.
o There was a gold one (same model) from Gold Experience.
o The White BMW from Emancipation era.
o I saw the Prowler and I also heard about the new Bentley.

I remember in a few booklets he thank BMW. I also remembered/noticed that his car always seem to match the color of his house. His house was blue in ’89 and so was his car. In ’91 they were both yellow. In ’96 both were white.

He seems to be a fan of BMW. I would be too, if I had the money!

It had better be Detroit made or at least American made!

Prince drives several cars but like a lot of people with GOOD taste, he is a BMW man.

He got a purple PT Cruiser the first year it came out. (along with the prowler)

I have a PT cruiser as well...

His keyboard player, Morris Hayes, says one of his cars is a Bently!

Oh, that's an easy one....a Daewoo. It's just soo fun to say.

I can testify to Prince as liking to drive exceptionally fast. I didn't realize it was him until he turned the corner and actually drove past my car that it was him in the purple prowler. All I saw was this blur of purple that almost hit the front end of my car when he turned the corner and I was a little peeved. Then I thought oh great you just gave him a nasty look. I swear if I can screw up any time I meet or see him, I DO.
