Prince doesn't mess up, he's just being himself! Whether you like that or not, well what more needs to be said.

Prince was "dragged" off stage on Letterman in 1994 after performing a mock suicide-Mayte cradled his lifeless form and a bodyguard dragged him away. Sniffle Sniffle-just life Christoper Tracy.

I think the Super Bowl venue is a tough performance for any act. Maybe in person it comes off better, Every time I've seen it on the television its horrid sounding, amateur camera work and poorly staged.
Its not the entertainers as much as its just to big of a stage to perform on too short of a time period. I'll say it, give me a couple of pro marching bands. It would make for a much more entertaining performance. The Most Important Thing In Life Is Sincerity....Once You Can Fake That, You Can Fake Anything.

The only way Prince will screw up is if he starts preaching to the crowd...or if he takes suggestions from Janet and the Simpson sisters on how to perform at a live sporting event. Prince Rogers Nelson

Sleezy or not, the man has done some awesome music. I'm uninterested in prince showcasing Larry. I want to see PRINCE not Grand Central Station. There is a sleezy quality about him. any other questions? Larry's creepy and Prince's puppy dog behaviour around him wigs me the fuck out. Dude's a good musician and all, but even leaving aside the ew factor, I'll be turning on the set that day to see Prince play. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

I'mma just keep watching.. .cuz...damn....but still. please no larry and if we could lock the twinz in the locker room that day....that would be nice too. I can see it now, Larry Graham up there, sweat drippin' off his big ass mustache yelling, "Little Brother, get on the mic!", Prince: "You don't want me on the mic!", Larry: "Little brother, get on the mic!"., Prince: "You don't want me on the mic!" frightening "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

Prince messing up a performance is rare. The guy is very professional when it comes to his work. The only thing we really need to worry about is if he starts talking. Crazy rants may be okay in front of the fams, (accepted, if not appreciated) but in a venue where the majority of viewers won't even be casual listeners? Please, Prince, don't preach. I really want people to talk more about his great performance more than the game itself but I can't help but think, "what if he screws up and becomes the laughing stock? I wish I knew what he plans on doing for the show. I guess we can only wait and see.
I doubt that happens. No matter what he does, there will be people that will find something wrong, even if everything goes right, unfortunately that's just how the world is.

In his earlier years he was quite riske for that period of time. He's older, more sophisticated, religious? wears suits, eliminated the extreme sexual innuendo... and after last year's fiasco...The superbowl needs a clean cut performance. The LV concerts suggests to me he can pull it off without a hitch. He's a professional. I have no doubt the Prince organization understands the impact this will have on his career. I predict he'll be playing at the White House some day. He's never had a bigger audience than what he's going to get. I just don't see him exposing a nipple in the Versace/Armani. Doesn't go with the outfit. What happened last year at the Super Bowl ?

The last 2 years have been The Rolling Stones and Paul McCartney. The Janet Jackson fiasco was 2004 - 3 years ago.
