My 80 yr old mom loves Prince's "strut" My mother saw the Super Bowl Ad with Prince and she commented, "Boy, he sure can strut, can't he? She said that's the first thing she noticed in the ad when he was walking out out of gate that opened.
I always thought Prince had a cool walk. And he seems kind of bow legged too, which I love.

Watching Prince's "swagga" taught me how to walk in heels. Thanks Prince! Prince Rogers Nelson

I love Prince's strut too. It's a very confident strut.

for some reason, when i saw him do his little strut in seattle in 87, i was dissapointed at the pretententiosness of it and him. But as I've gotten older, I see it as part of his act and it's grown on me, there is a bit of humor in it and I don't see it as a cocky thing anymore and I love to see it because it just lets us know he ready to do it!

as a sidenote, i don't believe anyone will ever top the way james brown used to walk out on stage, nothing fancy or pretentious, it was as if he was ready for anything and everything when he approached that mic.

George Jefferson walks like that too, it's from the "Old" days it means I'm Bad, mostly little men did it in the hood.

Right? He could give a seminar. I know some women I'd like to enroll. Lots of lurchers and mincers out there. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I always thought Prince had a cool walk. And he seems kind of bow legged too, which I love. That's cute. Reminds me of when my mother saw Prince perform on "American Idol" and she said "Now that's a good-looking man!". [Edited 1/14/07 9:50am]
