Just wanted to ask you feelings about this song and the Batman soundtrack in general?

i like the song (must be the scottish connection)

On a whole I think the full album is fairly decent.

I don't hate Arms of Orion as much as other fans on here, but it's safe to say it's one of the weakest ballads he's ever written.

As for the album itself, I like it alot...i thought the whole gemini thing was cool as it gave Prince the chance to let loose a little and have some fun.
Vicki Waiting, The Future, Partyman and Scandalous are my cuts on here.

I like Arms of Orion. I really don't understand why it's hated so much. I think the Batman soundtrack is great.

Sorry 2 all fellow Scots in advance but I thought the song was the biggest pile of steaming shite on the album.Both vocals especially P's were great but I winced and still do every time I hear it.
On the whole I thought the album was great as it was the 1st brand new Prince material I bought as a new fan.

Out of hundreds of Prince songs I've heard there are probably only 5-10 that I hate. Arms of Orion is in that group. It's as if P was purposely trying to ape the worst elements of generic pop radio.

I swear I've tried to like that song his vocal range is very good but in a whole the song is not good,boring!

If it weren't for Orion as a single, we'd never have gotten I Love U In Me, which is undeniably the cat's ass. BoyzIIMen were probably ripping their hair out when they first heard that one.

Would have been way better if titled "Arms Of A Riot"

Not one of his best ballads, but I still like it.
Maybe influenced by the girl I was with at the time.

I actually like the song aswell. Surely it's not one of his best ballads as said earlier, but I like it.
