The Beautiful Ones is the better song.

The live performance of EI (with its emotion) makes it compelling. The rehearsal recording isn't nearly as great.

'Electric Intercourse' is a wonderful song, but 'The Beautiful Ones' is probably the best ballad he's ever written.

As of right now, Electric Intercourse, maybe because I just heard it for the first time recently and I REALLY wish he'd do an official release of it.

Aside from the legendary '83 First Avenue concert, has he ever even performed it again?
