Ha! I knew that was coming! lol

Seriously, I think Bodyheat was not only the first JB song Prince played live but possibly the first non Prince song that he covered in concert.

I believe that some versions of Possessed in 1985 featured some of it's lyrics.

Body Heat-- a version exists on an early bootlegg. After a recent viewing of JB's performace of Body Heat from the dvd of the same title.,I think it became an inspiration for alphabet street.

Prince played it first as an extended part of Head on the Controversy tour 1981. As for the Alphabet Street thing, I don't immediately see it but I'll have to give both of them another listen to.

Handel

He also played the instrumental riff from "There Was A Time" during his infamous onstage appearance in Beverly Hills in 1983, alogside JB.

Elements of this riff were later used to fill in the re-recorded version of "I Could Never take the Place Of Your Man". Listen to that instrumental in the middle: it's the riff from "There Was A Time".

Woah. Never knew that! Pretty cool! Also, Prince sampled JB several times on the Nude tour of 1990, sang the line "Gotta go 2 church ya'll" from Body Heat during Dirty Mind on the Controversy tour and played a bit part of Mother Popcorn as a part of the "80's medley" on 1988's Lovesexy tour.
