Was thinking about it the other day and how it ends just as its getting going - ie the guitar. Im sure there are longer versions out there than what was released on crystal ball.

Thats the dissapointment with the music club and the NPG releases as one had assumed that they would break traditional industry codes of fading out tracks etc.

Really, really spooky!!! I was thinking EXACTLY the same thing this week! I only just got Crystal Ball for Xmas & this week I started listening to disc 2 (I play them over & over for a few weeks until I get to 'know' them!!) & I thought 'Wow' Considered doing a post asking if anybody else felt the same, but never got round to it!!! I just so love this song on disc 2 along with Calhoun Sq & Sexual Suicide!! Great sounds so far!

It's very nice should have been a bigger hit!

Crucial is always on my top 5 "I wish Prince would finally perform live" list! I know it was between that and Adore to close out SOTT. Prince obviously chose the latter. SOTT is still my favorite album but if Crucial had replaced Slow Love then,I don't know if that throne could ever be overtaken!

Y'all quite right Crucial is an explosive,incredible beauty. I think it's a live recording with miles davis? I dunno why it didn't land on a real album.
