I am a french, parisian exactely, Prince's fan.
I am looking for pictures about Sign O The Times (album and tour).
Paris wants more : hello to all the purple people.

I recommend you get your hands on a 'Sign O' The Times' tour programme. The pictures were by a photographer called Jeff Katz. The tour programmes are still widely available.

Send me an orgnote and I'll tell you where to get them.

What about SOTT pics online? I'm looking for the one w/ P & Cat - she's wearing her little peach getup, he's wearing jeans, a jean jacket & holding a peach guitar. The mirrored heart is behind them, blah blah blah. WHERE IS THAT PIC? Someone here has it as their avvy but I want it bigger - he looks AMAZING in that one...

The poster is from a european promo for the movie. It's a poster with lots of pictures on it from the movie and those sessions.

Imagine, there must be a whole set of those pictures, outtakes and stuff. Fascinating still after all these years!

Oh yeah and the one where it's kind of a close up of Prince, he's looking up at you, you know, head down but with the eyes looking up and he's showing off his silver heart on his sleeve...also with the peach outfit.

He's got the ribbons and the whole Camille do and black funky gloves and all! He really does look awesome in that pic!

And from that same close up there is another where his head is raised and he's looking to his left from the corner of his eye.

Calhounsq - somebody called "Poplife1977" or something has this pic as their avatar. I remembered it cos I was gonna ask Poplife whether it was a promo poster or what...

I LOVE that pic - it would be great up on my wall!

Whilst on the subject of hard-to-find pictures of Prince, there is a particular one from the 'Parade' era I have been searching for years. I wonder if anybody will know which one I'm talking about?

It's a colour head shot (dark background) of the man,with his head turned slightly to the right and he is wearing his black leather diamante jacket (some studs are visible in the picture, which also shows the white buttons on his chest). He is wearing dark glasses, has a serious expression on his face and the photo itself looks like it was taken during a live performance. Has anyone seen this???

Now an even rarer photo is of Prince from the Parade era, walking towards the camera, like backstage or something...with the big fuzzy U Got The Look white coat! If I remember correctly he wore the bright blue Kiss outfit underneath, Parade hair, but with that coat, so he had it way before U Got The Look!

He had a big smile and hands in pockets, very bright saturated, sharp, proffessionally taken but not as a photo session, just as one of those backstage shots .

I remember seeing that photo in like Black Beat or something, in a small photo but I lost it when I let PETE FROM SAN DIEGO borrow my Parade folder!

Never seen that photo since...1986! Sheeesh!
