I watch for the commercials and the halftime show. So Prince being there is just whipped cream on the deal!
I love a Man who:
Wears More Make Up Than Me.
Wears Four Inch Stilleto Boots.
Changes His Name To An Unpronouncable Symbol.
Who Changes His Name Back From An Unpronouncable Symbol.
Oh And Most Importantly, Who Is Sexy Little Drop Of Butterscotch

Whether it be Prince or the Super-Bowl,
every time I watch, I fall fast asleep.

I don't know if that's a testament to their performances,
or just due to the fact that I'm usually drunk.

I've only ever watched the Super Bowl once in my life, and even then I was reading and just waited for half time and funny commercials. That's probably what I'll do this time. Actually that's definitely what I'll do this time. To be honest I really don't like football, but I really do like Prince ( lol ), so I'll probably read whatever book I happen to be reading at that point up until halftime.

HE'S COMING AGAIN

I will have the game on in the "background" but I won't actively watch until it gets to halftime. After half time is over, I will turn off the TV and meet everyone here to disect every song played, outfit changed, and hair do(n't). biggrin

For a hot minute I thought about having a Halftime Party (not a Superbowl party cause I couldn't care less about that) but then I realized I don't want any distractions from casual/non-fans while I am trying to watch!

The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

I don't watch sports, so I will just catch the halftime show. I'm thinking maybe there will be a mention or shot of him during the game, so I will probably tape it and fast forward through it after.

Nope, I love football. My dad is an avid football fan and so am I. I really want to see the Bears and Colts in the Superbowl but as long as the Bears make it I am cool. But of course Prince has something to do with it...lol But I would totally watch it anyway.

I watch the Super Bowl every year no matter who plays in it. Prince at halftime this year is just "icing on the cake" for me.
I hope by some miracle my beloved Seattle Seahawks can make it back this year and win it this time. lol

Only for Prince I am not a football fan at all. I keep telling my brothers (big football fans) to please tell me when the half time show comes and they keep teasing me that I have to watch myself because they are not going to tell when Prince is on, they want to torture me.

I love NFL and Prince, so it's a bonus. I wished he sang at it last year when my Steelers played (AFC will win again).

hmmm I am not sure if you are being sarcastic or what, but just in case you are not.....
American Football is not Soccer (eventhough soccer is called football in many other countries) Although I do forsee soccer getting ALOT more popular since that hottie, Beckham, just moved here. nod
