Ok,so everyone I've ever dealt with that is a Prince fan is generous and friendly.So,I'm talking to an associate of mine in Georgia about Prince boots and he tells me about a boot I wasn't familiar with called Still Waiting.He said he'd send me a copy since he knows I love Controversy- related stuff.I was so excited while waiting I looked up reviws of the cd. Turns out that,like he said,the reviews were positive.So,it arrives and I tear open the package and the show is from 2-25-82 in Monroe(?),LA. The set list is uptown,why you wanna treat me so bad(12 minutes and 2 seconds worth!!)i wanna be your lover,head,dirty mind,do me baby,controversy,and let's work.This is soundboard and the performance is great.I think I like the sound better than His Royal Badness.There is some really good bass playing by Andre on here and the band just sounds like they were in a good mood. This is an easily enjoyed recording.

One mo' thing:Who is playing bass on the Dream factory track "witness 4 the prosecution"?It sounds like Prince.Whoever tears it up and there is similar nastiness,of course, on "..Dorothy Parker". And do you prefer the album version with the horns or teh outtake version without?

'nother thing:I like the track "a place in heaven".I don't enjoy Wendy's version as much as Prince's.Which version do you prefer?

Yet another thing: I saw a dvd called Something Different about an interracial love affair.Wendy and Lisa did the music.

One more:as quirky as "girl 'o' my dreams" is,I find it to be one of prince's funkiest tracks.

Did I mention that The Dream factory is the bomb???!!Well,it is!! [Do NOT ask for or where can I get snip - luv4u]

If my memory serves me well Movie Star ends in2 the beginning of "A Place in Heaven"once Prince(the movie star)takes his conquest home and she falls asleep.

Also,that's gotta be Prince playing drums on The Dream Factory title song. The fills with the double snare then double kick is his style.Unless he instructed Bobby to do that,also.
