Hey guys Yesterday I finally did it.. I got my symbol tattoo I love it.. it only cost 40 dollars and the artist did a really nice job

I've always put off getting a Prince tattoo...I kinda ruled out the symbol a while ago, so I wouldn't know what the hell to get.

Whoever did that did a really nice job. Nice size and proportion too! Good job!

Regardless of whether you're the 1st or 1000th person to get this tattoo, it's still cool. No need to squash someone's happiness just because you've "been there/seen that".

Once again the symbol period is still controversial between fans!

I see your point . . . problem is, most of the classics HAVE been tattooed to death (the , Paisley Park, NPG). When someone does branch out into faces and likenesses the result is usually disastrous!

The tattoo is "safe" - I will grant you that. But it's still a very powerful icon. He can always add stuff around it later.

Oh Jake, just FYI . . . Prince frowns upon tattoos.

A lady at the One Nite Alone soundcheck in Detroit showed him her tattoo, and he was not impressed. He said to her "you have a Bible at home"? She said yes, and he said "Leviticus 19:28". He didn't tell her what it meant though. He wasn't mean about it, in fact he was quite nice - almost playful.

I remembered the passage, so I went home and looked it up. Leviticus 19:28 "Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD."

Just in case you ever meet him!

The cameramen at Prince shows really try to get women to show their Prince tattoos, especially if they are hidden . . .
