In the song "get on the boat people" from the 3121 album, he says a line in Spanish that I completely don't understand as a fluent Spanish speaker. When I looked at the lyrics and read the sentence, I realized he couldn't even say it right. Do you think he's working on it?

La verdad es que me encantaria oir una cancion de el toda en espanol. Pero tengo la impresion de que no es bueno para los idiomas aunque tenga buen oido musical. Necesita por lo menos la estructura gramatical....

Wouldn't you guys like to hear him sing a nice romantic sexy song entirely in... Spanish? I bet many orgers would start learning Spanish then.

I really don't think so. I'm fluent in 4 lanugages including Spanish, he couldn't clearly say the line in the song. He might know a couple words but I'm not sure he completely knows the language, he is maybe working on it now.

Ay mijo !!! I have a CD called THE STAFF and Sheila E sings in Spanish the song Mi Casa with a very clear pronunciation but i don't think the spanish language is her forte i know she understands the language fairly well but not to speak it. on the other hand the late Selena did speak spanish fairly fluent to the point of communicating with her spanish followers.... Well Prince can take a crash course in espanol that I'll be more than glad to teach him any time
