Should PRINCE pay tribute to James Brown at the Super Bowl ? I truely believe that if Prince added a James Brown song into his set for the Super Bowl that this would be a great way for Prince to pay his respect to Mr. James Brown. [Edited 12/31/06 8:38am]

I will go on the record on this one. If am wrong I will stand corrected. I can definitely see P paying homage to one of his inspirations and mentors with P playing JB's music at the Super Bowl. It's just like him (P) to not publicly show up at the funeral but to play music instead. Time and time again P has always avoided situations where he does not have control and is not center stage. Music is his language and I am sure he will show up MJs appearance at JBs tribute. It's my guess it will be spectacular and amazing with crowd going wild. That will be talk after the show is over. I've got a good feeling about this one. Just watch and wait, if wrong I will sadly admit that P has lost his touch, especially in the area of showing respect. 3121's paying respect is good but not enough in my opinion. Also who says that P didn't pay his respect to JB privately? I wouldn't be surprised. |
