It's a pity it was kept off Purple Rain by Take Me With You ..one of his worst songs. Does anyone know the full lyrics to it?

The full length version is probably my all time fave prince song. The whole thing's just a dark, twisted, rocking, funk trip.

yo, "org note" me too. Computer Blue is the reason i put in purple rain when i play it. i definitely need to hear an extended version of THAT. Take Me With U is fun, breezy song. Has a feel all it's own. Shows his diversity. Appolonia's "caturwailing" (or whatever someone called it) is "underneath" enough to not be a distraction.

I've always liked Computer Blue, but it wasn't my one of favorites by the man....that is until I heard the full version!!! I recently had the pleasure of turning a fellow Prince fan on to this version and her reaction to it was a dropped jaw! He was definitely in a vein here! The guitar work was awesome ..especially at the end when the rest of the music cuts and he makes those intense sounds with that guitar..GOOD GOD!). Prince is the man hands down!!!!

Positively one of the best songs ever. It still amazes me that the extended version has not been officially released. I have friends who HATED Prince hear this song and have their opinions about him completely change. Pure electric funk/rock.

"Computer Blue" has always been one of my handful of favorite Prince tunes. The guitar work is amazing. I'd always heard about the extended version of this song but sadly have never actually heard it. I'd really really love to hear this!
