I agree with you that it is a good time to release a CD - but not for your lawsuit reason. The timing is hot with 3121:Vegas and Superbowl. Although, I really thought he'd have a soft spot for the date 07-07-07.

i actually wouldn't mind a 3121 remix/redux album! if he could polish a dookie-pie like RAVE with a project like RAVE In2, then maybe he can crank up an adequate album like 3121 into an even more adequater release!

also - at this point, i can only see a "surprise" feb. 6 album release date if he's releasing something independently, a la N.E.W.S. - i don't think a major label would humor him for releasing a new album without a month or two of hype.
