Which song(s) can we say are underrated and couldve, shouldve, wouldve, been a hit?

There are many that come to mind for me but Im gonna go out on a limb and say "Endorphinmachine". No, yes? Yes, no? I think so. And maybe "Silly Game" for the R&B charts...

I still believe that "Strange but true" would have been huge if remixed for the dance charts

I can agree on anything positive concerning Prince.

I say Sleep Around on Emancipation was almost a guaranteed hit. Also Joy in Repetition.

Even if it was released now, minus the the 46 second talk, I think Pheromone could've been a big hit on the pop charts. It's a shame because the Come album is really good.

The Gold Experience had so much potential single-wise...endorphinmachine, dolphin, 319, eye hate u, gold. They all coulda been big hits imo.

I think Space is one of the best songs he ever did

especially the acoustic version

2nd single after SOTT. MAybe too obvious,...
A bit like not releasing DMSR (but delirious & let'S pretend instead, 1983 DMSR woulda been huge (along with the "movie" promotion (the Tom Cruise one (sth with "*** business" I guess)))
But the biggest joke is not having released When you were mine as single (would have been esp. a big UK hit in 1980, instead they/he released Do it all night and gotta stop in UK.
But my bet goes to Baby U're a trip, could have been a one-off single release in late 1983 (backed with Possessed or some 1999 stuff (dble a-side w DMSR or sth in the water)
