Neat thing about For You (the song) The "For You" song is the very first song you hear on the very first Prince album, and the very first thing you hear Prince sing in his career is this:

Prince rules!! I converted someone to Prince by playing this song for him early in 2006. The fact that there are no instruments and no back up singers floored the non-believer. I think the lyrics were the most appropriate for his first song on his first album. A masterpiece. | |

I'll have to go listen to the whole tape again. I think I was 16 when I bought it. I think Prince is a dual personality with a serious socially conscious emotionally and spiritually grounded side and then he has his lustier, freaky, raunchy, practical joking side. True flippy Gemini that he is...I like both sides but prefer him straight up any which way I can get him...
