Not me but I know several people he owes $ to. Back in '87 with the SOTT release there was a Prince fan club membership postcard in the album. As I recall it was around $10 to $20 dollars to join and you were supposed to get a bunch of stuff. I actually recieved my stuff but several friends of mine sent in their $ and never recieved a thing - despite the fact that the checks were cashed.

I lent Prince the money to do his first demo. It was $7.oo(a 5 and two 1's) and some Moon Man did it on a 4-track cassette. They had technical difficulties bouncin' tracks and all so he asked me for 7 mo' dollars. Made him a plate of "bisketty". I said, You know baby, granny ain't got it like she used to but if you come back with some candy and flowers, I'll make a withdrawal from Bosom Bank and you can finish it.
So he come on back with a Nestle's Crunch and a Dandelion and I gave him all 1's this time.
He let me and Isaac listen to the tape and it had a lot of hiss and wobble in it but he promised to give me my $14.oo back as soon as he got a record deal. Song was somethin' about havin' relations.
I ain't seen him since. I was mad for awhile. Sent him a piece of "bisketty" and put a note with it: "Does this piece of "bisketty" remind you a somethin'?
He had me arrested for stalkin' and harassment. I spent 90 days in jail but they did have bingo and .....in there and all's forgiven.
Just to let you know, I'm the one who gave him his first big break into the music business.

NPG was reported to the BBB several times, sloppy of an artist of his caliber to let things get that out of hand.

I bought the Graffiti Bridge album and I want my money back.
