I know that's true with cats. Staring wide-eyed is an unfriendly gesture in cat language. They usually steer clear with that. Now squinting the eyes, if any, has the opposite effect. It can draw them closer. I prefer dogs, myself.
Prince is different, he's more closely related to the human species, and they tend to be a little more complicated. U must b very sure of yourself to give anyone 100% of yourself! *** I prefer cats but now I love dogs 2. Maybe in the future I will adopt the dog I have adopted in distace: Siesta. When I tell off my cats I look them straightly in the eyes. Prince Angel is the bravest. He looks at me 2 but he doesnt resist long... Lol.... Prince closely related 2 the human species.... I was thinking 2 train him looking him at his eyes and then feeding him if he obeyed... lol

Someone recently told me that dogs respond better to a higher pitched voice, quick bursts in staccato; and that cats are of course, the opposite: preferring a slower, gentler tone and a deeper pitch. Some kids from a radio station contest were back there waiting on Alicia too. They yelled out "Hey Prince!", "What's up man!"... very innocently, and excited at the same time, and Aaron, bodyguard dude stared those kids down like they had called P out of his name.... I thought it was so foul... Prince just kept walking, no wave, no smile, no nothing.... 30 minutes later Alicia came in to the meet and greet room nice as can be... I hope she doesn't turn into this anti-fan person as her career goes on....  A little humility goes a long way.I met Alicia. She's very nice. | |

Well one of the drawbacks for being in show-business - people staring AN OCCUPATIONAL HAZZARD and is therefore part of a very well paid job. 2 hell wid' it I'd stare, me! i wouldn't call it a hazard...more like a by-product of stardom, really. that's what i've never understood about those who just constantly stare at him simply because he's there...everything else that's going on in the room! all the people one could be making friends with! the vibe in the place!...and muthafuckas just gawk at him as if he were an exhibit at the science center or something. it's really unnerving to me.

I often get along with dogs, feel I understand them. I have a distant respect for cats, They're selfcontained. They've taken one branch of creation to a point perfection and they never look back. Still, I can't really warm to them. | |
