sign o the times...awards... sign o the times! Does anyone know how many (if any) awards this album recieved?
its amazing how great a musician prince is & how few awards he recieved in his career so far....whats the deal here ? One of the most creative ,original, ground breaking, inspirational multi-talented(& I could go on & on)artiste of his generation...yet 4 grammys (only)? Did he reacieve awards for ... kiss(song) lovesexy(album) raspberry beret(song) sign o the times (album)...well U2 was donated that year. adore, icnttpoym, the cross(songs) was he ever nominated(Oscar) for song score for utcm movie? the gold experience(album) or any of the songs on it ? Song score for Batman song/album... Ijust realize that I couldnt possibly name them all...but you get my drift? but thats really sad and unfare...he should be right up there with Stevie Wonder with Grammy nods(& at least nominations )... we are talking about "probably" the best in the art of music making ...at least one album per year every year... So what then does the little man need to prove to be rewarded justly? Share your thoughts.

if u read carefully one the credits on Batman u will notice that P had nothing to do with the musical score, that was Danny Elfman i think, Prince wrote the songs, there is a big difference Receiving transmission from David Bowie's nipple antenna. Do you read me Lieutenant Bowie, I said do you read me...Lieutenant Bowie

I thought there were two soundtracks to that movie, one was Prince's and the other was background music from the movie.
