I was at a recording of UK TV show TOP OF THE POPS and Prince and the NPG were performing a song I'd never heard before - a funky number about stopping the war or something. Prince looked really happy and enjoying himself - he looked like Graffiti Bridge-era Prince I think.

Afterwards the announcer tried to announce the next act but in the background P and the NPG got started with another tune! A classic, I think it was something like 1999.

Then people were going up to Prince and getting their photo taken with him and he was more than willing. So I tried to get my camera on my phone working but it wouldn't start. Then I eventually got it going, and went over to Prince and asked him if I could have a photo with him. He agreed but then I noticed my mobile phone had got tangled up on a chair and I couldn't untangle it to take the photo!

It felt so real!
