yes prince is one of the best live peformers ever.
he translates his songs live,he always sounds better live.
even life o' the party sounds great live.

but did he ever dissapointed you with his concert peformance.,make you think"well this is not as good as it can be".???

i never liked rave 2000 performance and cafe de paris 1998.
besides band not being so loose and funky ,
the thing that was bothering me the most was his guitar playing.

he have a reputation of great axxe peformer.
but on rave 2000 his playing was dull,
boring he didn't cut it a single time.(jesse :cut it )
cafe de paris was awful with annoying rapper
and again boring guitar playing.
so did he ever dissapointed you with his peformance ???

I was not disappointed at the ONA performance. Excellent from start to finish.

ona was excelent,only non fan can not like one nite alone tour.
but what about the times you were dissapointed???

Prince has NEVER disappointed me.Alwayz outstanding.

the nude tour concert in copenhagen, was a bit disapointing; Prince didnt seem "up" to the show,, and it was very short... It was in 1990.. the first tour AFTER Lovesexy, so maybe its the explanation right there; very difficult to live up to that tour !!!!

I was dissapointed with his performance from the last B.E.T. awards show this
year, He could've blown the roof off the place, but all he did was play a luke warm version of 3121. The audience was just watching, like yeah ok, when is he going to get funky?..... Don't U sometimes miss the Prince from Sign O the Times?

The only time was when he was on I forget the name of the show Damn... that one where Sinbad took over as the host.

Well Larry Graham & his wife, Mayte & Prince were interviewed.

Prince played The One. It sucked.

i think he lost the plot for a while in the late '90s, around the time of NPS and Rave, but he snapped back soon enough.

Personally I was disappointed with the Diamonds & Pearls tour. I recently watched a dvd boot of the Earls Court part of this tour and my opinion is still the same. Otherwise, every other Prince tour/gig that I've attended has been pure class.

He didn't do an encore when I saw the Lovesexy show, I always wondered what happened.

I think that his performances arent never disappointing...
He is disappointing in other fields...

I've been to c prince twice, 1st time was in 88, lovesexy, where I got a bad seat. Another time was a 1 nite alone concert in Berlin. There y'man was or seemed 2 b very tired, he only really swithched the groove on, about twice. He didn't seem 2 b enjoying himself at all throughout most of the concert.
Maybe I've just been unlucky with the shows I've been 2. It'd b 2 expensive to risk again.

Ive seen Prince perform live 6x and Ive never been dissapointed.

Yeah, when I saw him perform in 2000 in Cleveland. He did a bunch of Vegas style medleys instead of playing songs in their entirety. He was just kind of going through the motions, with no real enthusiasm. The show picked up a bit though when George Clinton came on stage towards the end.

Thinking well Prince disappointed me at a show of 2002. It was the soundcheck he asked 4 somebody going on stage dancing with him at the concert. He pointed me saying me that he would have called me but he didnt. I was waiting 4 this moment all the time, my friends were excited with me, I FELT SO HUMILIATED AFTER WHAT OCCURED...

I think that Prince MUST CONCENTRATE on his performance instead of humiliating his fans. In conservatory we r trained 2 concentrate on stage. I can say that when I perform there could b Prince, the Pope, Franco Battiato, I wouldnt notice none of them. Prince is showing a big LACK OF DISCIPLINE. If he had more discipline Im sure he would do better performances...

Once I was talking 2 a conservatory buddy. He's younger than me but he hasnt 2 balls, but 8. He's GREAT. He's not famous yet but his music touches the heart. We talked thats pretty annoying when u c so called professional musicians doing what u r being trained not 2 do.

Thinking well, I dont If I would pay 4 being humiliated by Prince... My musical projects come first... Its gonna b a risk 4 me too... but at least NOW I CAN WALK HOLDING MY HEAD UP AND SMILE

I confess that my piano teacher would b my kind of man but I never thought of him "sexually"... If I had 2 chose between him and Prince, my choise would b: THE TEACHER

Prince should watch some of his MUSICAL performance and learn from him...
