I hardly think Prince is going to be able to help Michael relaunch his career within a 2 week break! As for the tour, it is only a rumour that a tour is going to be announced after the Superbowl (for which they have got the date wrong, it is the 4th of February not mid-january), and even then the Superbowl performance may not actually 'kick it off'.

They've just put up a massive banner for the 3121 club on the Rio Hotel building, the Superbowl is in February, which would mean only 4 or 5 weekend performances at the 3121 club before he would have to set off on tour and presumably performances at the club would have to be put on haitus until he got back, unless we expect him to rush back every weekend? Other people have said he is planning on playing for 6 months at the Rio - so something has to give, either the tour will be later in the year or there will be a break in the club gigs. I suspect the tour if any will be later in the year after a 6 month stint in Vegas.

In Detroit, the week of February 26th, is an absolutely delightful time for a Prince concert!

A friend of mine who just a got a job on the culinary side of things in P's camp said March. Didn't say "world", just March.

I do not believe that Prince is helping Michael "relaunch" his career, even if Mike shows up at the Rio, which I also don't think he'll do!

Tait Towers(latest project - touring set for Justin Timberlake)
has the Prince set slated to be ready for a March tour.

Prince is going to tour with Michael Jackson.
