Prince on VH1 Remember when "Emancipation" was coming out & Prince did that "Love 4 1 another" concert on VH1?
He had that skit about the girl who was a fan who considered herself his soulmate! 
I had that thing on tape and some1 in my house ERASED it!!! I liked that concert, he performed that song "Rock and Roll is alive (and it lives in Minneapolis)", I was really feeling that song! 
And the beautiful Nona Gaye was there @ Paisley performing @ the concert 2...I miss my tape   &  | |

Yeah, that was a great performance.
He did "Days Of Wild" and "The Ride", plus "Gold" also. Classic!! Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind. | |

I'm in this video, not just a crowd shot either! After one of the Paisley shows, I was milling around and they rounded up a few of us and asked if we wanted to be in a video. They took us to the corner and filmed the scene with Clinton coming through. You can see me for just a split second, I'm wearing a polka dot shirt and wearing glasses. This scene was shot the same night he shot Gold, he performed Gold twice. (he performed "R&R is Alive" another night because I missed that show) I saw ALOT of shows at Paisley around this time and when this special came out I checked every frame of crowd shots but never saw myself in the audience, just the one scene. | |

Just an afterthought...remember to break the small tab on the label side of your vcr-recorded tapes, so no one can tape over them.
I've done this too and it bites to erase something that won't ever be shown again on TV. | |

I liked how Prince & the girl keep sending each other copies of words in a dictionary as communication...
Then she went n 2 this room & was watching a tape of old footage & people talking about him & stuff... I was 13 when that came on VH1 & I watched it everyday after I came home from school.  I have a feeling VH1 won't b showing this again... ever  & | |
