I think on Madhouse 8 Prince had paid tribute to the Ohio Players albums of the seventies by having an woman-model as the cover. Ohio Players usually had more scantily clad and freakier looking women though. But the ultimate Ohio Players cover imo is Honey. I think the Honey album cover wins over the Madhouse cover. Dont get me wrong, Madhouse's Maneca Lightner(?)is the shit, but the Honey cover is just so sweet sticky thing-ish. "I need a seventies chick"

According to the same Maneca Lightner, she was the inspiration behind Prince's infatuation with the whole polka dots sartorial phase he went through between 1986-88.
