My other bets would be "Play that Funky Music White Boy"- which he's also doing in Vegas practically every night, and then a medley of hits for the hard-core fans who want some Prince material. I have to assume he'll stick to something he's been doing in the Vegas show- imo that is what most artists would be doing if they were on tour at the time of this gig. It's not the time to decide to perform something for the first time....

Mixing the rumors and news from the last weeks i suspect the following band:

- Prince on guitar (no discussion here... lol)
- Renato on keys (judging his input during the 3121-concerts and his appearance with Prince on the Golden Globes awards show)
- Maceo on Sax (he also played often during the 3121-concerts)
- Candy Dulfer on Sax (someone close to Candy said this on another forum, not a musicforum by the way, i cant confirm this with a link unfortunately)
- Shelby (i forgot her surname, Brown? Jones?) on background vocals: on Housequake.com was a thread about herselve claiming that she will perform during the superbowl)
- Bass and drums: it might be Cora and her husband, but personally i hope for Sonny Thompson and Michael Bland (do i hear those two on the song performed on the Howard Stern show).
- The FEMU-marching band: this is confirmed in different reports.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the following tracklist:
- Lets go Crazy (an obvious show-opener, its also to be heard as background music in the ad for the superbowl)
- Guitar (the new song, following the reports these might be an early single for an album to be released late spring / early summer)
- Get on the Beat (with Shelby on background vocals, and the FEMU-marching band on 'horns', different insiders on housequake.com 'leaked' information about this song being performed, next to that it is a very James Brown influenced song, and maybe Prince will throw in some lines from a James Brown song to pay hommage to him)

I must admit I have butterflies in my stomache, I want him to do so well! I know he can't and won't please everyone, but I am praying he will atleast give the negative people a positive view of how multi-talented he really is. I was on youtube yesterday, and someone called him a "Liza Minnelli wannabee" now that's mean!!
On pins and needles till sunday...wonder how Prince is holding up?
