Prince did turn up at the VMA's!!! Well ok, not in person, but did you catch the segment right before TLC came on stage and talked about Lisa and the new AIDS foundation? A fairly rapid sequence of past awards shows was shown, with various presenters announcing TLC the winner of whatever category they were in. I believe it was the last 1-second clip in which Prince is shown announcing their name.
I haven't followed awards shows, etc, close enough to know exactly what show that clip was from, but it had to have been around 1999, as Prince was wearing the Rave blue outfit. | |
