Drakie, when trying to do bold you must put the / in front of the b at the end of the phrase or word just like you do for quote. Just a little piece of info.

I think that's just how the email's written, taking a quote from many of the concerts: "one mo jam for Prince and the band"...but i could be wrong.

I was hoping he came up with a new band name a few yrs ago.

There were rumors a while back that the band was changing to NEW POWER REVOLUTION.
Works for me.

The live set is credited to Prince and The NPG. So I doubt that he will change it. Besides that, I think he likes the name.

actually, i like "The Band"...its very simplistic and doesnt create any illusions of what the band is about..sorta lets the music speak for itself...

..but I agree... Prince & the Band
would be pretty cool for a new name.

Personally I think Prince should have dropped the NPG tag
after the original NPG lineup split (Sonny T, Michael B, Tommy B, Mr. Hayes). The general public were just confused
by the whole NPG thing...was the name of the band? the name of the fans? etc. He should just leave it as 'Prince'
until he gets a solid band together that will stay with him
for a good few years/albums.
